I’ve received tons of email that asked almost the same questions, so herewith some of those questions:

I. Make up artist

a.  Does the make up artist follow for the entire photo session?
For Pre Wedding yes the make up artist will follow us for the whole day. However for wedding, the make up artist only stay till he/she finished his/her job.

b. Do we need to pay more for second touch up or we need different hair style?
It depends, for Pre Wedding you needn’t to pay more since its included in the quotation, touch up must be needed since anybody can get sweat in Bali. About hair style changing…  if it doesn’t take too much time then free of charge.
However, for wedding the make up artist will charge some more $ for second touch up.

c. May we use our own make up artist?
Absolutely yes, then I’ll deduct the make up artist price from my package (if included) according to my base price.

d. Why we need make up artist?
Hi girls (mostly girls do make up ^.^),  you only know how to make up your self, but the good make up artist know what you need and what photographers need. For example, if someone’s face too oily its very hard for us to use flash, a good make up artist will handle this.

II. Images Resolution, Quantity and My Gear.

a. How many photos in a photo session and do you give them to us all?
I can’t guarantee any number of photos. A lot of aspects influence the number of photos especially in pre wedding photography that needs travel from one to another area in Bali:
-. Customers on time
-. Weather
-. Traffic Jam

I just can tell you for pre wedding its around 150~600 photos, and minimum 200 photos up to 1.000 photos for wedding.

Yes, I’ll give almost all of the photos except some photos that not in the right moment (eye blinking.. etc), or totally bad exposure, color…. etc.

b. Can we print our photo up to A4/A3… A1 or bigger size?
Yes, but subject to printer and the printing shop whether they support such big printing or not.

c. What is your gear and do you give us full resolution?
My primary camera is a full frame camera that has 21Mega Pixel of output, my secondary camera just has an output of 15 Mega Pixel of photos.
Yes, I’ll give the full resolution. However, please be noted that I need do some cropping when I do photos editing and the result will be a bit less in pixel count.

III. Price

a. Your price is too cheap to what you offer.
I want to tell you that I like to have European photography standard fee and live in Bali….. but I can’t. So I have adjusted my price as the price in local mid market price, but I invested in high end market gears for customer satisfaction.

b. Other may give us a bit cheaper price?

Everyone may say they are professional. Pro only use professional cameras and lenses and they will not use entree class camera with a lens kit. I’ve seen a lot of low pay photographers only use entree level camera and a lens kit, then the customer complained about the result…. Sorry boss, you got what you paid ^^

I’ve learned photography for years and invested/updated my gears as I could.  I think it makes sense  for few dollars difference. I have to bring 4-6 flashes, 5-8 lenses, 3-4 cameras in ONE wedding/pre wedding photo session…  I am afraid if something broke (just in case), I still have second body/lens/flash or even second photographer… Be positive thinking that you pay more for better result and more secure.
