When Joe contacted me for a family photo shooting in Bali, we first planned to do it at Kuta Beach. That morning, the weather did not look good. Dark clouds started to gather over the coastline. Instead of risking the session, I suggested another location with a very different view, Blangsinga Waterfall.
The waterfall is a bit farther from Kuta, but it offers a lush jungle setting and dramatic scenery. Joe and his family agreed to the new plan. In the end, they were very happy with the choice.
Blangsinga Waterfall is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Bali. It has layered cliffs, strong water flow, and beautiful natural textures. The riverbank is perfect for relaxed family moments. The boys enjoyed stacking stones while their parents stood close and shared warm smiles. These simple interactions created natural and timeless photos.
We also took photos near the cliff with the waterfall behind them. The powerful cascade added energy to every frame. The soft morning light gave us fresh colors and beautiful contrast.
During the trip, we had many conversations. We talked about Bali, daily life, and of course local food and restaurants. Joe was very curious about where to eat, and we shared recommendations along the way.
A few days later, he sent me this message:
