Arry had a simple wish: to ask Michell to marry him by the sea in Bali. He chose Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa for the proposal, and I was there to capture the moment quietly from a distance.
Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa opened in 1983 and was designed around the idea of a Balinese palace. Its nine hectares of gardens run down to 150 metres of white sand beachfront, and a traditional Balinese gazebo stands at the edge of the sea. That gazebo on the stone pier became our setting.
Under a clear blue sky, Arry walked Michell along the pier and knelt in front of the gazebo, with the waves behind them. Her smile said everything, and she said yes.
Afterwards we celebrated with a relaxed couple session: sitting on the rocks, walking hand in hand, a happy lift on the sand, then into the hotel gardens as the sun dropped through the trees. We finished by the water at dusk, under the glowing lanterns.

Best Time for a Proposal at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa
Late afternoon is the best time for a proposal at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa. The light turns warm in the gardens, the sea is calm, and the gazebo gives a beautiful focal point. A 60-minute session is usually enough for the proposal and a few portraits afterwards. See the 60-minute proposal package.
Arry and Michell, thank you for trusting me with such a precious moment. May your love be like the sea at Nusa Dua, deep, steady and always returning to each other, and may every sunset find you a little more in love than the day before. Congratulations, and all the very best for your life together.
