Fiona and David celebrated their wedding at Tamarama Villa, one of the standout properties within The Ungasan Clifftop Resort. Their day felt warm and elegant, set against the backdrop of a charming colonial style villa overlooking the ocean. Tamarama has a very distinctive character with white woodwork, sweeping verandas, and a layout that feels both intimate and stylish. It brings a soft coastal feel that works beautifully for romantic, modern weddings.
The villa can host up to around forty guests, which creates a close and personal atmosphere. It is important to note that this capacity is already quite tight, especially if you want to keep the reception on site beside the pool. The space is stunning but compact, so planning the layout carefully is essential. When done well, the setting becomes a lovely blend of candlelight, reflections from the pool, and the architecture of the villa framing the entire celebration.
Bali offers pleasant weather most of the year, but the best time for a wedding is usually from April to October, which is the dry season. Clear skies, calm seas, and warm evenings make outdoor ceremonies and poolside receptions far more comfortable. The views from Tamarama are especially striking during these months, with soft golden light falling across the clifftops.
As their wedding photographer, I loved working with Tamarama Villa’s clean lines, open spaces, and soft natural light. Every corner feels ready for a timeless image, from the walkways to the poolside steps. Some of my favorite moments were their walk up the stairs, their first dance by the water, and the quiet time they shared on the balcony. The villa naturally supports beautiful storytelling and made capturing their day a joy.
Seeing Fiona and David celebrate with their closest family and friends showed how Tamarama can transform a small gathering into something truly memorable. With an intimate guest count, a beautiful villa, and the perfect Bali weather, their wedding felt warm, relaxed, and filled with genuine joy.
I wish both of them nothing but the very best as they begin this new chapter together.
