I always feel excited whenever I know I am about to photograph an Indian wedding in Bali. I already know it will be a long celebration, filled with meaningful traditions and beautiful chaos. And honestly, I love it. It is full of vibrant colors, rich culture, emotional moments, and so much joy.
Utkarsh and Roopali chose the stunning Nusa Dua Beach as the setting for their wedding, and it could not have been more perfect. The tropical gardens, the ocean breeze, and the soft golden sunset created an incredible backdrop for every event.
The celebrations began with the Mehendi, where delicate henna patterns were drawn while laughter and conversations filled the air. Then came the Sangeet, a night of music and dancing where family and friends truly let their energy shine. The Haldi ceremony was one of my favorite moments to capture, with bright yellow turmeric covering smiling faces and turning the afternoon into a living painting.
And of course, the most fun part, the Baraat. Utkarsh arrived with full spirit, surrounded by dancing guests and unstoppable excitement. The energy was contagious. Everyone was moving, cheering, and celebrating as they made their way to the ceremony.
As the sun slowly set over Nusa Dua Beach, the ceremony began under a beautifully decorated mandap facing the ocean. Roopali looked absolutely radiant, and the sacred rituals felt intimate and powerful at the same time. From the heartfelt vows to the emotional Vidaai, every moment carried deep meaning.
Photographing Utkarsh and Roopali’s wedding was such an incredible experience for me. From the colorful Haldi to the high energy Baraat and that beautiful sunset ceremony by the beach, every moment was filled with life and laughter.
